Bee-hives and Bees

Marcus Aurelius was a philosopher and Roman Emperor from 161 to 180. He was known as the last of “Five Good Emperors”.

Aurelius wrote reminders to himself, ideas to keep in mind. The quote is from a book of Meditations. These books have been interpreted many times and a similar interpretation was “What is not good for the swarm is not good for the bee.”
