Cache Lake Reflections at Dusk, Algonquin Park

Off Highway 60, just east of the Canisbay Campground, is the entrance and parking lot for Cache Lake. From this spot, people take boats to private cottages and Bartlett Lodge. There is also a short historical trail with signs because this area use to be the hub of Algonquin Park from the 1890’s to the 1950’s.

We took a short drive at dusk in hopes of spotting some wildlife, moose in particular. We stopped at Cache Lake as the sun was going down and the moon was coming up.

Looking southwest from the docks you can see the lights from Bartlett Lodge. If you were staying there you would use the direct line at the dock to call for a shuttle to pick you and your luggage up.2016-Algonquin-Park-Cache-Lake-1913 Cache Lake Reflections at Dusk, Algonquin Park
