Maya went on a lot of camping trips in 2016. In the summer she spent two weeks exploring the region around Presqu’ile Provincial Park, including the Prince Edward County area. Later in the summer we went back to Algonquin Park and spent two weeks hiking the trails and spending time together as a family.
In the fall we decided to go on two weekend trips to the Pinery and had a fantastic time. We had to take extra comforts for her to keep her warm and off the ground, plus lots of nice warm meals and snacks to keep her belly happy.
Camping just won’t be the same without her but we are so blessed to have had so many wonderful years with her exploring nature through her eyes.
