Nature’s Music Is Never Over

Mary_webb Nature's Music Is Never OverBorn in 1881, Mary Webb was an English romantic novelist and poet. Webb developed the symptoms of Grave’s disease at 20 and suffered with it for all of her life.

Her novel Gone to Earth was made into a film in th 1950’s and later re-edited and released in American as a 110 minute critically acclaimed movie (when it was later released by the National Film Archive). The story is about a ‘child of nature’, who simply wants to be herself with her beloved pet fox but gets drawn into the romantic human world.
