After touring around Prince Edward County on an extremely hot day, we drove by a farmer’s market and quickly turned around to check it out.

It had a rustic, old country feel with some vintage equipment displayed out front.

Off to the side we found this neat little area with sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens in it. They had some fantastic shade, which I’m sure they were greatly appreciating on such a hot summer day.

As we got out of the truck we were greeted by a very friendly golden retriever. We found out her name was Sasha, and she was a lovely pup.

Inside we found lots of sweets, preserves and other goodies. We bought some very tasty muffins, which were quite expensive but they were also excellent!Sasha followed us out to the vehicle and sadly watched us leave.
