After wandering around the norse replica village and trading post, Norstead, we followed some signs to a hiking trail. The trail led along the rocky shore and up the hill for gorgeous vistas of the Altantic Ocean, Noddy Bay and the surrounding countryside. We had a snack at the top of the climb and as we came upon the rocky beach on Noddy Bay we spotted a Minke Whale off in the bay.
The trail was easy to follow and wasn’t very long, but is definitely a hike you should take if you are in the area. Pack a picnic, visit the local tourist sites and keep an eye out for whales and icebergs.
