Centennial Park is located in Sarnia, Ontario along the Sarnia Bay. Last winter we went for a walk with Chloe along the trail while she sniffed and explored the area.
She got this very sharp looking fleece sweater to keep her warm since she had only been in Canada for a few months after spending her first year of life in Kentucky. Like many other strays, she does not enjoy the feeling of wearing jackets, especially if they have to go on over her head. This one goes on her front legs and then gets zipped up the side. It’s a very nice sweater, made by Canine Equipment, that we purchased online for an amazing price!
Chloe loves the snow, she loves to roll in it, to eat it and to run around in fresh snow. Above you can see her shaking after a good roll.
At this point we were still getting to know Chloe and she was still trying to learn to understand basic ‘english’ and that we were trying to communicate with her. We often got blank stares when we talked to her.
She is a quick learner and here she is learning to listen, to learn and to sit.
She loves exploring new places, textures and heights. She is very sure footed and knows exactly where her feet are being placed.
We feel in love with her freckles and her patches. Oh, and her curly tail!
She has come so far since we first brought her home and we are so happy to have her in our lives. We have learned to adore her quirky ways.
