BINGO!!

That’s what I shouted with a fist-pump of victory when I found the last clue on the Winter Bingo card. I was that excited. Wait a minute….what?

How could I be so excited over sighting naturally occurring items on a BINGO card at my local park?
Here’s how…it’s all in the competitive search. When we search for something, our hearts are racing, we’re breathing deeply, our minds are focused like laser beams and we feel startlingly alive and in the moment.
It’s like active meditation for the thinking mind.

So…BINGO! Yeah!

I had a blast doing the winter bingo…and I helped to create it. It didn’t matter that I had helped to

choose what would be on the card. I still had to search high and low, walk through the woods and fields noticing everything around me, and revel in the finding of each clue.

FUN…that’s what it was…FUN!

I was outside, learning about nature, enjoying the day with my family and being energetic. What a great way to make memories. So much hilarity and laughter…so many things we noticed that we might not have seen had we not been actively looking at our beautiful park. And…we got quite the workout running around in search of each item. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get outside and create their own nature adventure.
