Balsam Lake Provincial Park is located east of Orilla, Ontario and along the Trent-Severn Waterway. The park features a large sandy beach, a pet beach, hiking trails, fishing, swimming, boating and recreational craft rentals. The lake is said to be a fantastic fishing spot for Walleye, Muskellunge, Large and Small Mouth Bass. For birders, you can expect to find a variety of birds, including Northern orioles, Pileated woodpeckers, Osprey and owls.
