Rainy days don’t have to be depressing days. There are a lot of things we can do when it’s rainy out! As a child I use to love to sit by the window and watch and listen to the falling rain. The sound of it can be so relaxing and mesmerizing. You can watch the raindrops hitting puddles or the birds as they find a place to wait it out.
If it is cold out, then you’ll probably want to stay inside while the rain drenches the trees, flowers and grass. Play a board game with your family, read of book, do some chores or homework that needs to be done. How about a puzzle?
If it is warm enough out, put on your rubber boots and rain gear and get outside! Rain on a warm summer day shouldn’t stop you from having fun outside (unless there is thunder and lightning). Go for a walk, play hide and seek, look for worms, watch rain droplets form on leaves or spider webs. If getting wet and muddy is okay, go and play in a mud puddle!
