2009 was a year of travel, but not so much for Maya. We spent part of the summer in Ireland for work and for vacation and then I was in Sweden for work during the fall.
Maya did get to go camping in Algonquin Park at the end of summer where she conquered the Centennial Ridges, Beaver Pond Trail and Booth’s Rock Trail. There were also day trips to local parks and, of course, to the Pinery.

Time to survey my yard, again.
We're hiking with others for a change. I sure do hope they like to share.
Did you hear that?
The Pinery is awesome in the fall!
Being outside is a good time to think about your next meal.
Hiking Algonquin's Beaver Pond Trail makes me hungry. Who's pulling out the snacks?
Does this rock have a funny smell? Nope, it's just me. Lol.
Rolling around in mulch is a good way to get all those itchy spots.
I love, love, love hiking.
Mommy and I found our way on top of another big rock.
Walking close to home on a cold winter day.
The Pinery's beach isn't just nice in the summer time. The fall is fun too.
This one really liked to say my name. Maya, Maya, Maya.
