2011 was filled with new friends to nap with, trips to favourite locations, lots of days of swimming in water and other days frolicking in the snow.
Maya enjoyed days at local parks, like Bridgeview Conservation Area in Petrolia, Marthaville Habitat, Centennial Park in Sarnia and, of course, the Pinery Provincial Park which is a 45 minute drive from home.
May and June she took us on a few days trips to the Bruce Peninsula to find some of the clues for the Explore the Bruce Adventure. Later in the summer we finished it and sent our cards off but didn’t win anything again. We did get t-shirts though.
In the summer she camped at the Bruce Peninsula National Park, MacGregor Point Provincial Park and an awesome late summer trip to Algonquin Park. What a great year!

It's nice to nap with friends.
My patented ear floppy, water removing technique.
It was fun playing in the water at Singing Sand Provincial Park. Sandy and shallow.
Why do I always have to hold the bows on Christmas day?
I love stuffing my head into deep snow and searching for critters.
Wandering around the Sarnia Bay in the spring.
Me and giraffe like to have mid-afternoon sleeps.
The Carolinian Trail at the Pinery has a bunch of steps. Be prepared to go up and down and up and down.
Ohhh, the grass feels so good.
Stop taking pictures and let's play in the snow.
The summer is an awesome season filled with swimming!
Algonquin Park is great in September. Less people and cooler weather. Plus there are less bugs.
There are some really rocky beaches along the Georgian Bay. Be careful pups.
Read something dog friendly, Mommy.
The Bruce Peninsula National and Fathom Five Parks all have water to swim in. It's a bit chilly but I have two thick fur coats that keep me warm. Love it!
Playground equipment isn't just for kids. I love the slide.
Wiarton, Ontario is a nice place to stop to dip your toes in the cool water.
