Maya the Nature Dog’s summer camping adventure continued at Arrowhead Provincial Park.
The first day she hiked the Stubb’s Fall Trail, with a quick, refreshing swim in the middle of the hike. On the second day she explored the Mayflower Trail before it started to pour rain.
It was a short, two day stay at Arrowhead but Maya enjoyed the stopover for the most part. The one part that she wouldn’t repeat would be the metal stairs at the top of the Stubb’s Fall Trail – definitely not paw friendly.
- I was stuck up at the top of the hill with Mommy while Mummy went down to the beach. Why are some beaches not dog-friendly?
- I hear there is water along this trail. Stubb’s Falls, sounds like water, right?
- This is my country girl impersonation. Grass, it just tastes good.
- A shady trail is so nice on such a hot day.
- These steps really hurt my delicate puppy paws.
- I love hiking in the woods with my family.
- Water!
- I was so excited to get my toes in the sand.
- I swam really far out into the Arrowhead Lake to bring back a stick. I was amazing!
- I didn’t find the stick.
- Where does this Mayflower Trail start?
