Roy Rogers, an American singer and cowboy, was born in 1911. He was known as the “King of Cowboys” and appeared in over a hundred films, radio and television episodes.
Rogers received many awards for his various talents: three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Country Music Hall of Fame are most notable.
