During two separate camping trips to the Pinery Provincial Park in the fall of 2018, Chloe enjoyed hiking the many trails and napping in the trailer.
One of the trails she was particularly excited on was the 1 kilometre Bittersweet Trail that we hike in the rain. We were the only ones on the trail and she decided that she wanted to race up and down a huge, fallen oak tree! Under that oak tree she found the perfect spot to dig out a ‘new home’ but decided she would follow us back to the heated trailer instead.
The Bittersweet Trail is a nice hilly trail that runs along part of the Old Ausable River and then back into a mixed forest. There is a small lookout area, steps and winding paths that are filled with birds, mushrooms and a variety of trees.
