The first in our line of “Draw It If You Saw It” activity sheets. These sheets are specifically designed for your young kids who haven’t gotten into photography but love to draw. The activity teaches young children to be aware of nature and to actively search for interesting subjects around them. If the spaces are too small for the youngest of your artists, give them a notebook to draw what they see. Can they find other outdoor, natural items that aren’t on the list? Help them spell the non-listed drawings.
It is also a great way to teach your kids how to spot, and hopefully avoid, patches of poison ivy. “Leaves of three, let it be; berries white, take flight”
