Explore The Beach

Beaches are magical places that many of us have enjoyed since childhood. If you grew up near a beach or within driving distance to a beach your family probably spent many days there throughout the summer. Some of you may have even gone in the winter time!

Beaches aren’t just about swimming. They are places to go for walks, build sand castles, or bury someone in the sand up to their neck. Some have streams entering them, tide pools, sand dunes or sandbars. Beaches can be made of sand, shells, stones or rock. They may be bustling with people or they could be a secluded, out of the way spot that only the locals know about. A beach could have clams, seaweed, fossils or crabs on it. Beaches are relaxing and exciting places.

If you live in Ontario then you are lucky enough to probably be close to some sort of beach or shoreline. The province boosts over 250,000 freshwater lakes and innumerable rivers and streams and ponds. Here are just a few beaches that you may want to check out some of the links below:
