The Pinery is open year-round and is beautiful every season of the year. Hiking its trails in the fall is a relaxing and colourful experience that I encourage everyone to take the time and opportunity to do.

This tree shattered earlier in the year during a storm. Among the browning ferns this tree will eventually start to rot and become home to insects, mushrooms and other beneficial elements of the ecosystem it will continue to contribute to.

The variety of trees add a selection of colours to the fall foliage. This tree was a brilliant yellow that will transition into a burnt orange colour as the season progresses.

There is beauty in simplicity.

Even poison ivy is beautiful in the fall.
