Have you ever tried to get chewing gum off of your shoes? I’m sure we all have and it isn’t a lot of fun.
Many of us are responsible chewers, once finished, we throw it in the garbage. Unfortunately, not everyone cares enough to find a garbage to dispose of their gum and they end up throwing it on the ground. This litter creates problems for other people using that space, for animals that might choke on it and for communities that have to pay to clean it up.
Chewing gum isn’t biodegradable. It won’t break down, it isn’t natural and it isn’t healthy for the environment.
Please dispose of your chewing gum properly – trash it don’t throw it!
