Our sixth day of camping at Bon Echo Provincial Park started with trying to get Chloe to do her morning duties in the rain. It was raining quite a bit and she wouldn’t go out so we got in the truck and drove to several locations hoping she would give it a try. This method often works and finally, after a short drive into Cloyne, she decided she was willing to go at the Library and even go for a short walk in the pouring rain.
We decided it was the perfect day to get some laundry and reading done, so we drove into Northbrook and did that. After a nice, relaxing afternoon and dinner, we went for a walk around the campground and then down to the north dock area.
Later it started to rain and thunder, so Chloe took refuge in her bed and we read for the rest of the evening. It can be nice to have the weather dictate a quiet, relaxing day during a long, active trip.
