The highlight of our 7 day stay at Bon Echo Provincial Park would definitely be the ever-changing Mazinaw Rock. Every time we caught a glimpse of it through the trees, sat and watched the rock climbers or canoed near it, it looked different. The light, clouds and even the wind seemed to affect its appearance and just when you thought it couldn’t get more beautiful, it would.
Parts of the Mazinaw Rock are visible along most of the shoreline of Bon Echo but some of the best views are either from the Narrows or from a canoe. By boat or canoe, visitors can view some of the 260 native pictographs that are still visible.
