During our stay at Awenda Provincial Park in Penetanguishene, we took a day trip to Midland to explore the Sainte-Marie Among The Hurons Historical Park.

The site is open from May 4th to October 14th each year, from 10 am to 5 pm.

During your visit you can walk through both Jesuit and Huron Wendat buildings which showcase their lives and their living conditions back in the 17th century. There are also a variety of programs that visitors can take part in to learn more about the people and the times.
