Canatara Park is located just east of Point Edward in Sarnia, Ontario. The park offers sandy beaches, nature trails, picnic areas and a fantastic Animal Farm that is open year-round and free to the public.

The park is also a wonderful place to see wildlife and wildflowers. Many songbirds migrate through this area in the spring and in the fall, while there are wildflowers to enjoy from the early spring to late fall.

On a late September day, in 2015, I took a walk around Lake Nipissing and through Tarzanland to photograph wildflowers and any other interesting subjects I could find with my macro lens.
