Chloe’s second major camping trip took her to Ontario’s Bruce Peninsula. She still found some of the sounds at the campground to be overwhelming but it was a huge improvement from her first big trip. We stayed at the Bruce Peninsula National Park, just south of the town of Tobermory.
During our week stay, Chloe enjoyed walking along the edges of the park’s Cyprus Lake at least once a day. She went on hiking trails at the park, at Singing Sands, on the Bruce Trail and near Lion’s Head.
She still wasn’t brave enough to try to swim but she took every opportunity to get her toes wet during the trip in the Georgian Bay, Cyprus Lake and many streams along the way.
We continue to enjoy watching her grow and to become more fearless in situations that she previously wouldn’t have even attempted to try.
If you have a dog that enjoys going to the beach then you’ll have to try out some of the locations in the video. As you can see there are a lot of dog-friendly beaches, or at least access to water along the shores of the Bruce Peninsula.
