Discover The Chutes, Falls and Cataracts Of Chutes Provincial Park

Chutes Provincial Park is located in Massey, Ontario and features excellent views and access to the Aux Sables River, falls and the Seven Sisters Cataracts. While staying at, or visiting the park you can hike the trail, sit by the water or swim at the base of the waterfall. The water is clean and cool, and the scenery is beautiful. Around the bend of the river there is an excellent spot for your dog to swim, but there is a bit of a current so be sure to supervise them and keep them on a line.

We hiked around the trail a couple of times during our visit, doing different sections and lengths, but the one day we did the main trail it was absolutely spectacular weather and we got some amazing shots of the river along the way. We love the colour, shape and texture of the rocks in northern Ontario. The Canadian Shield creates some breathtaking vistas that speak directly to my love of nature and the outdoors. If you haven’t made it far enough north to see the Shield, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
