Exploring One Of Strathroy’s Nature Trails – In The Fall

On a chilly fall day we took a day trip to a couple of local parks and trails in Southwestern Ontario. After stopping at a dog park we took a country road toward Strathroy, Ontario. After a quick lunch of hot oatmeal we hiked part of the Conservation Area that took us along the river’s edge and over several boardwalks. We spotted beaver and sapsucker activity along the way. Chloe had a blast running through the long grasses and along fallen logs. After we drove up to London, Ontario to run errands and take Chloe the Foxhound for another walk in an urban park. This is the first in an on-going series of local day trips we take throughout the year.
