Fun Reel On The Pinery Provincial Park’s Hickory Trail – Watch the Video!

The first in a new, ongoing series, called “Off The Cuff” which literally means without preparation. We take you along on a hike as if you were there with us. We show you plants, mushrooms, wildlife and such as we see it and joke around in the process. These videos will feature more talking, less editing and hopefully lots of humour!

In the first video of the series, we hike the Pinery Provincial Park’s Hickory Trail in the fall. This one kilometre trail takes us through mixed forests and along the edge of the Old Ausable River. Like most trails at the Pinery, we find a lot of mushrooms in the soil, on living trees and on decomposing logs. Turkey Tails can be found everywhere we go in the Pinery!

Future videos will be smoother since we have invested in a gimbal so that these types of videos will be more enjoyable to film and to watch!
