The Gardens Were Green in May 2016

In May, many plants were beginning their seasonal growth. We only have a few true spring flowers in our garden, so there were only a few blooming, and a few had already finished flowering.

We added a few new native plants to the front garden. Russian Sage, which is suppose to low hot, yet dry areas, was added to the small plot beside our driveway and front step. Nothing has survived in the area throughout the years. We also planted more Bee Balm, a Columbine and an Anise Hyssop.

Before writing this post I actually sat down to try to make a complete list of our plants, but I’m sure I missed a few.

What grows in your garden in May?
