Hiking To The Frozen Shores Of Lake Erie – Watch the Video!

I head out on a solo day trip to check out a conservation area that I’ve never visited before. Driving about an hour away from home I head out for a day hike to EM Warwick Conservation Area near the town of Eagle, Ontario. The property is on 14 hectares and features group camping in cabins and a hiking trail that leads to scenic views of Lake Erie and beach access.

During this fairly warm but overcast day, I set out to see what the conservation area has to offer. With only one other vehicle in the muddy parking lot, I talk to another outdoor enthusiast about the trail and local sightings before I start my hike.

Along the way, I hear a variety of birds singing and see Tundra Swans pass overhead. Some plants were starting to appear in and among the dried leaves and woodpeckers are spotted and heard during the hike.
