Common Name: Black-eyed Susan
Scientific Name: Rudbeckia hirta
Family: Asteraceae
Origins: North America (native)
Flowering Time: June – October
Habitat: Fields, prairies and open areas.
Range: Found throughout most of North America, with a few exceptions.
Use: Butterflies and bees are attracted to these flowers.
