Killbear has two fantastic pet exercise areas. Both areas feature sandy beaches with few, if any, obstacles to worry about. They weren’t overly used and perfect for dogs that are young, old, big or small. One of the areas is an on-leash area and the other, which is near the group camping section, if an off-leash area.
Please pick up after your pets and if your dog isn’t dog friendly, please consider either timing your visits when there are no other dogs (or a limited number) or find other ways to exercise them. Ever time a dog owner doesn’t pick up after their pet, or if there is an attack, that decreases the chances the parks will continue to offer these wonderful areas. Let’s show people and parks that dogs can be beneficial to each other by being responsible pet owners.
