After hiking Steve’s Trail we decided to hike down to the Shoreline to catch the sunset. Not exactly sure where this spot is located, but it must be somewhere close to Steve’s Trail. We hiked down just as the sun was setting and saw the clouds turn pink over the nearby mountains. We stayed to the very last minute and then wished we had remembered to bring a flashlight because we still had to hike back to the vehicle. It was too fair so we stumbled back down the trail with Maya’s help. That girl always could follow a trail!

It was a beautiful sunset and a magical spot with the mountains in the background, the sunset and then the amazing light over the salmon river. Definitely worth the walk down, only wish we had found this spot sooner.
