On a bright, beautiful day we decided to take the Northland Discovery Boat Tour out of St. Anthony’s. We called ahead to see if we would be allowed to bring Maya with us and were told that as long as the other people on the boat didn’t mind, then it wouldn’t be a problem. We showed up and everyone gave her a pet and it was no problem.

The waters were calmer than they usually ever are on the Atlantic and it was a perfect day to go out. During the tour, we saw Atlantic White Beaked Dolphins, as well as three Humpback Whales all hunting together in a large circle.

Off in the distance, we saw 3 schools of dolphins with 6 to 10 in each pod, plus there were Atlantic Puffins flying by at amazing speeds and White Gannets were also spotted.

We would definitely recommend visitors to check out this family-run company. They were friendly, informative and entertaining and the boat was in fantastic, clean condition.
