A quick teaser of upcoming website posts from our 2010 thirty-eight day camping trip to the east coast of Canada. The preview will give you a taste of upcoming posts filled with information and photography. Starting June 1st, 2019 we will be publishing two new posts from our trip, from start to finish.
After about a 2500 kilometre drive from Southwestern Ontario to Cape Breton Island, we started our adventure with a one week stay at the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Then we set off on an overnight ferry to Newfoundland. Our first week we spend at the tip of the island, exploring St. Anthony’s and the surrounding areas.
We pack up the camping gear and drive south to the amazing Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. What an amazing place. Newfoundland was so beautiful and the people were so amazing, we didn’t want to leave!
Back on the ferry to spend a week camping at The Islands Provincial Park near Shelburne, Nova Scotia. We made a quick stop at Mountain Equipment Co-op in Halifax to grab some supplies!
We then checked out Parrsboro, Cape Chignecto and Joggins Cliff.
After the planned number of days was up, we couldn’t help ourselves, we booked a cottage on Prince Edward Island for a three-day stay!
Watch the preview video below and then check out posts from the trip every Wednesday and Friday until we’ve covered the entire trip!
