Killarney’s Stunning Cranberry Bog Trail

There were so many amazing places that we saw during our epic 2015 camping trip but one of the highlights was hiking Killarney’s Cranberry Bog Trail. The weather was absolutely beautiful that day, with the temperatures in the high 20’s and the sun was out but there were gorgeous white clouds in the sky.

The hike lead us through forests, beside and on pink granite outcroppings and ridges, and beside a beaver meadow. We even had to go across a beaver dam, at one point.

Water lilies and other aquatic plants covered parts of the ponds and the edges of the shoreline.

There were huge White Pines and birches along the trail.

During our hike we saw a variety of plant life like ferns, Heal-all, Bunchberrys and Pickerel Rush, to name a few.

This is a trail that you must hike at once in your life! We cannot recommend this hike enough!
