Enjoying An Early Morning Walk At Petrolia’s Bridgeview Park

During these times, it’s nice to be able to get out into nature, even if it’s only close to home.

In this video, I enjoyed an early morning walk along on a local trail in the heart of the small town that I live in, Petrolia, Ontario. The trail is part of the Bridgeview Conservation Area that runs along Bear Creek through a Carolinian forest. In the early morning, there are lots of different birds chirping away and I spot butterflies and snails, as well as a variety of early summer wildflowers. On some morning I can also find Great Blue Herons, Painted Turtles, Turkey Vultures and glimpses of White-tailed deer.

I hope you are also finding time to get outdoors and enjoy the benefits that nature has to give you. I know for me it is a part of my physical and emotional health.
