MacGregor Point’s Huron Fringe Trail In The Summer – Watch the Video!

This video takes you along the 1.2 kilometre Huron Fringe Boardwalk Trail at MacGregor Point Provincial Park, just outside of Port Elgin, Ontario. The trail is accessible year-round and starts from the Visitor’s Centre parking lot. The boardwalk is both stroller and wheelchair friendly but can be quite slippery when wet.

The trail goes through two wetlands and along the beach. Hikers can walk the beach trail or continue on the boardwalk to finish the loop. On the hike you will often see (or hear) a variety of birds and frogs. Along the edge of Turtle Pond you may spot turtles in the shallow waters.
