From Fisherman’s Point, we headed south along the coast to Goose Cove to walk the Pumley Cove Trail. The trail was only 1 kilometre long but the vistas and views of the cove and ocean were spectacular. It was a clear, sunny day and the temperatures had climbed to about 17 degrees celcius by 4:30 in the afternoon.
There were signs that warned visitors that moose can be unpredictable and it’s best to avoid them. The signs also warned of coyotes in the area and how best to either avoid them or what to do if they do notice you. I didn’t get a shot of one of the signs that was much more adamant about the dangers of coyotes.
For obvious reasons, it’s very important to have your dog on a leash!
