Early Spring At Mandaumin Woods

Mandaumin Woods is a small woodlot, owned and managed by Lambton Wildlife. It features a small trail that winds through the property. During the early spring it is a fantastic place to spot spring ephemerals and other spring wildflowers. Along the trail you may also spot some snakes, toads, mushrooms and flowering shrubs. Be sure to listen and look for birds nesting or feeding in the area too.

Depending on the recent weather, you may want to wear a pair of waterproof boots or rubber boots because some sections can get muddy and may even have standing water.
