During our summer camping trip to Presqu’ile Provincial Park, we made day trips to local parks within driving distance. During our drives we would stop off at bakeries along the way for fresh bread and other delicious items. On this particular trip we found an amazing little bakery just outside of Picton. All of the items are handmade daily and then placed in the cutest tiny bakery building. The entire shop is setup using the honour system, with prices listed on each item and a box to put exact change in.
The bakery is located outside of Picton on the way to Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park.
The shop offers samples, day olds and a variety of baked goods, depending on the day.
You can also grab a drink or some preserves while you are there.
On our first of two stops, which we made a special trip for, we had blueberry scones and two different delicious cookies.
It’s probably a good thing that we don’t live closer to this bakery, because we would definitely be stopping on too frequently!
If you are in the area, you definitely have to stop off at the Perfect Lil’ Bake Shop.
