The Calm Of Winter Along The Pinery’s Heritage Trail – Watch The Video!

A day trip to the Pinery Provincial Park to hike the Heritage Trail, what an amazing thing to be able to do all year round. This lovely trail, along with several other trails in the park, is open throughout the year and we love to hike it in every season. In the winter you will still find leaves on oak trees, mushrooms and fungi growing in a variety of locations and even some plants! The trails are quiet and peaceful and very easy to navigate, even in the winter. Keep an eye out for wildlife tracks in the snow and make sure you take the extension down to the Old Ausable River for great views!
