Old Boats Along Newfoundland’s Viking Trail

After a wonderful week exploring St. Anthony, Newfoundland, we spent the day driving to Gros Morne National Park. It was a very rainy, overcast day but we still took the opportunity to make stops along the way to check out the shoreline and to photograph some old boats.

Highway 430, otherwise known as the Viking Trail, follows the western shoreline from Eddies Cover all the way to Rocky Harbour, within the boundaries of Gros Morne National Park. The drive from St. Anthony to Rocky Harbour took almost three and a half hours, not including the stops.
